Lois June Huey Murt, 81, of Paducah went home to meet her Savior, Tuesday, August 14, 2012.
Lois was a member of Gospel Mission Worship Center, retired from Sears having worked in the receiving department and was a member of the Sears Retiree Group. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Lois was born on June 1, 1931, to the late Robert and Freda Wilharber Tucker in Osceola, Ark.
Survivors include one daughter, Kelly (David) Dixon, Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; one son, Stephen (Lucinda) Huey, North Port, Fla.; two sisters, Betty Lou Tucker (Jack) Griggs and Cindy T. Frazier, and one sister-in-law, Betty Tucker, all of Paducah, Ky.; one brother, Morris Wayne (Harolyn) Tucker, Paducah, Ky.; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Adam Shuemaker, Murfreesboro, Tenn., Alexandra Sinclair Huey, North Port, Fla., Jason Dixon and Chaynne (Byron) Minter, both of Paducah, Ky.; two great-grandchildren, Arianna Minter and Channing Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, Lloyd Huey, and second husband, Carl Murt; her parents; one brother, Robert Tucker; and brother-in-law, Dan Frazier.
Services will be held Friday, August 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. John Offutt officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 16, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
