SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Linda O’Dell (Verble) Jackson, 67, of Springfield, formerly of Urbandale, died at 12:46 a.m. Friday at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was a member of Calvary Temple Church, a 1963 graduate of Cairo High School and was a housewife and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Dearl I. Jackson; two daughters, Cindy May of Fisher and Angela Harmon of Springfield; her brother, Don Verble of America, Ill.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Her parents were Silas Verble and Jewell Verble.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge with the Rev. Buddy Walls officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be given to a charity of choice.
