BENTON — Lillie York Anderson, 83, of Benton, passed away at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Marshall County Hospital.
Lillie had worked at Merit Clothing Company, Curlee Clothing Company, and the Chair Factory and Cigar Factory in Benton. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and a volunteer with disaster relief.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Anderson and his wife Karen and Denis Anderson, all of Benton; four grandchildren, Kara Anderson, Nicole Anderson Musgrave, Ryan Anderson, and Sean Anderson; five great-grandchildren, Trevor Winsett, Trey Winsett, Tyson Winsett, Tatum Musgrave, and Ella Anderson; two sisters, Loretta Rudolph of Benton and Dora Dean Burkeen of Dexter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Anderson; one sister, Lyda Mae Seaford; one brother, Buster York; and her parents were Jacob Howard York and Nanie Rose York.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Bro. Rodney Wallace and Bro. C.C. Brasher will officiate and burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery.
