BENTON — Lillie York Anderson, 83, of Benton died at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Marshall County Hospital.

She worked at Merit Clothing Company, Curlee Clothing Company, Ashby Chair Factory and the cigar factory in Benton. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Barry Anderson and Denis Anderson, both of Benton; four grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and two sisters, Loretta Rudolph of Benton and Dora Dean Burkeen of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Anderson; one sister; and one brother. Her parents were Jacob and Nanie York.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home with Rodney Wallace and C.C. Brasher officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
