CYPRESS, Ill. — Larry E. King, 65, of Cypress died at 10:42 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012, near Cypress.

Mr. King was an operating engineer and member of I.U.O.E. Local 318 in Marion. He was a member of the Cypress Baptist Church and had formerly served on the Cypress Village Board.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Anderson King; his father, Merrill King of Melbourne, Fla.; one daughter, LaRay Capron of Cypress; one son, Jason King of Cypress; seven grandchildren; and four sisters, Marsha Womick and Linda Hillpot of Melbourne, Fla., Nancy Martin of Sarasota, Fla., and Carol Bass of Anna.

He was preceded in death by his mother, June Brown King; one brother; and one granddaughter.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, near Dongola. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
