Kristen Nicole Banco and John Allen Williams IV were united in marriage May 4 at Broadway United Methodist Church in Paducah with the Rev. Gregory Waldrop officiating. Music was provided by Nancy Ryan, organist. Readings were presented by John Williams Sr. of Paducah, grandfather of the groom, and Mrs. Sherian Banco of St. Clairsville, Ohio, grandmother of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Andrew and Nickie Shever of Paducah.
The groom is the son of John and Kristin Williams of Paducah, and Jeff and Beth Whitson of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The bride chose Miss Erika Lyles of Louisville as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Megan Bishop, Miss Lauren Helms and Miss Abigail Thompson, all of Louisville, Miss Ashley Shever and Miss Emily Whitson, both of Paducah. Miss Lane Tyler Williams, daughter of Brett and Allyson Williams of Franklin, Tenn., served as flower girl. Ringbearer was Samuel Clayton Williams, son of Kevin and Christie Williams of Collierville, Tenn.
The groom chose his twin sister, Miss Ashley Elizabeth Williams, as his honor attendant. Groomsmen were Brad Conkwright and Neil English, both of Louisville, Drew Shever of Paducah, and Jackson Williams of Collierville, Tenn.
A reception followed at The Carson Center.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of St. Mary High School, a 2011 graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is attending the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, a 2011 graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a 2013 graduate of Sullivan University with a master of business administration degree in hospitality management. He is employed in hospitality management at Drakes of St. Matthews in Louisville.
The couple reside in Louisville.
