Gary and Connie Kohler of Croghan, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Anne Kohler, to Michael William Perry, son of Dr. Michael and Connie Perry of Paducah.

Miss Kohler is the granddaughter of the late Charlie and Vera Carpenter, and the late Stanley and Alma Rose Kohler. She is a 2002 graduate of Floyd Central High School in Floyd Knobs, Ind., and a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky where she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. She is employed in Louisville.

Mr. Perry is the grandson of the late Tillen and Louise Wiseman, and the late Joseph and Evelyn Perry. He is a 2000 graduate of St. Mary’s High School and a 2010 graduate of Murray State University where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is employed in Louisville.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. Sept. 4 at St. Stephen’s Church in Croghan, N.Y.
