Tony and Cindy Kirk of Salem announce the engagement of their daughter, Micaela Nicole Kirk, to B.J. Walls, son of Tim and Sue Walls of Murray.

Miss Kirk is the granddaughter of Bobby and Thelma Kirk of Salem and the late Billie K. Farmer. She is a 2008 graduate of Livingston Central High School in Smithland and is employed by Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Walls is the grandson of Polly Chadwick of Dexter and the late Rex Chadwick, and Lucy Walls of Murray and the late Harold Walls. He is a 2002 graduate of Calloway County High School in Murray. He is employed by Swift Roofing in Murray.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. June 18 at Lovelace Chapel Church in Salem. All friends and relatives are invited.
