WINGO — Kenneth “Ken” Dale Davis, 78, of Wingo died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

He was retired in civilian capacity as a U.S. Navy aircraft inspector; he was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Kay Rudquist Davis; a daughter, Kimberly Davis of Sacramento, Calif.; five sons, Jimmy Davis of Vacaville, Calif., Bobby Davis of Pierce, Neb., Billy Davis and Donnie Davis, both of Macon, Mo., and John Davis of Golden Valley, Ariz.; two brothers, Melvin Davis of Spokane, Wash., and Berle Davis of Sacramento, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Davis; a brother; and an infant sister. His parents were Dale and Bernice Davis.

Private family graveside services with military rites will be held Wednesday at St. Jerome Cemetery with Eric Riley officiating. Friends may call after noon Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
