DUKEDOM, Tenn. — Kenneth Gene Cherry, 69, of Dukedom, died Tuesday at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and had retired from General Tire Company.

He is survived by his wife, Christene Wilkins Cherry; his mother, Dorothy Haynes Cherry of Dukedom; three daughters, Jackie Tallent and Kim Mingledorff, both of Jackson, Tenn., and Rhonda Richardson of Springfield, Tenn.; one son, Keith Cherry of Paris, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cleo Cherry.

Services will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
