BENTON — Kelssie Conkwright and Michael Green were united in marriage Oct. 1 at Briensburg Church of Christ with Tim King officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff Conkwright and Callie Phillips, both of Paducah. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Judy Conkwright of Paducah and the late David Conkwright, and Lisa and Jimmy Davis of Paducah.
The groom is the son of Richard and Marsha Green of Benton. He is the grandson of James “Eddie” and Lucy Midyett of Paducah, and Emma Green of Dallas, Texas, and the late Marion Green.
The bride chose her sister, Miss Kaylin Herzog of Paducah, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jessica Matthews of Paducah and Miss Mindy Smith of Calvert City. Ringbearers were Audrey Henley, sister of the bride, and Ethan Wood of Paducah. Miss Abby King, daughter of Tim and Becky King of Benton, served as the flower girl.
The groom chose Ryan Graham of Benton as his best man. Groomsmen were Shane Free of Benton and Seth Presley of Kingsport, Tenn. Ryan Wood of Paducah served as usher.
A reception followed. Tera Graham of Benton served as the guest book attendant.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Penn Foster High School and graduated from Daymar College with an associate degree in science. She is employed by Albertson Family Medical as a medical assistant and phlebotomist.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Marshall County High School. He attended West Kentucky Community & Technical College and graduated from John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Kentucky and is employed by Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory.
The couple resides in Benton.
