Kay Dickey, 65, of Paducah, died Friday morning, February 15, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Kay was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church, retired from Western Baptist Hospital with 40 plus years as a respiratory therapist. She was a volunteer for American Cancer Society and active in the Relay For Life. She was a part-time employee at Christopher Banks as Kay would like to say “I work for my clothes.” She was an avid shopper and enjoyed traveling. Kay was a graduate of Heath High School and a proud supporter of Heath.
Kay was the youngest of nine children of the late Arthur Lee and Anna Eliza Legate Dickey. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Linda Sue Dickey; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were five sisters, Edna Sarner, Rose Reasons, Mildred Seaton, Doris Wellington, and Linda Pierson; and three brothers, Jessie Dickey, Bob Dickey, and Jerry Dickey.
Service will be held Monday, February 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Brandt Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Bayou Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
