CADIZ — Katie Cohoon Scott, 31, of Cadiz died Wednesday at Trigg County Hospital.

She worked in banking and lending management and as a private caregiver. She attended Oak Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Scott; two sons, Cannon Scott and Caden Scott of Cadiz; her mother and stepfather, Layton and Bobby Harper of Cadiz; her father and stepmother, Terry and Debbie Cohoon of Cadiz; her grandparents, Dorothy “Dot” Cohoon of Cadiz and William and Martha Batts of Clinton; two stepbrothers, Aaron Harper of New Orleans and Ben Harper of Oakland, Calif.; and two stepsisters, Leah Harper of Lafayette, La., and Lori Cortner of Cadiz.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Cohoon; maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Ruth Woodruff; an uncle; and a cousin.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home with Tom Martin and the Rev. Paxon Redd officiating. Burial will be in Cerulean Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
