MAYFIELD — Kathleen Rushing Ellegood, 86, of Mayfield died at 3:09 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield.

She was a homemaker and member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Dave Junior Rushing of Mayfield, the Rev. Gleen Rushing of Clinton, and Jesse Harold Rushing of Fulton; three daughters, Donna Marie Reddick of Bardwell, Sheila Kay Leath of Clinton, and Freda Ann Jackson of Clinton; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Arthur Rushing; her second husband, Romauld David Ellegood; an infant son; and three sisters. Her parents were Jesse Eldon and Viola Wade Jackson

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Gleen Rushing and Jesse Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Mayfield Memory Gardens.
