CADIZ — Memorial services for Karen Brown, 61, of Cadiz will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Cerulean Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Neal and the Rev. Gary Mitchell officiating.

Mrs. Brown died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at her home.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Cerulean Baptist Church. She was assistant manager at Fred’s in Cadiz.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Brown; one son, Paul Smith of Cadiz; three stepdaughters, Amy White of Powell, Tenn., and Alicia Scott and Angie Bonefas, both of Independence, Iowa; two brothers, Richard Piper of Oshkosk, Neb., and Bill Piper of Denver; four sisters, Sharon Christenson of Denver, and Cathy Llewlyn, Holly Madigan and Mary Lou Moore, all of Casper, Wyo.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister. Her parents were Edward W. Piper and Mamie Seeley Piper.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the church.
