Judith “Judy” Hobbs, 67, of Shelbyville, formerly of Paducah, died Saturday, February 23, 2013, in Louisville.

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeri Hobbs-Carter, Shelbyville; one grandson; and four sisters, Betty J. Smith of Henderson, Nancy K. Hill of Madison, Wis., Deborah J. Teague of Paducah, and Anita Hill of Shelbyville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald T. Hobbs, and one brother.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville with the Revs. David Roach and Bill George officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
