CALVERT CITY — Juanita E. Rhodes, 76, of Calvert City died Monday, December 24, 2012, at the home of her son in Calvert City.

She was a retired hairstylist. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, and was the Lake Francise Estate Community president.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence A. Rhodes; two sons, Richard “Rick” Rhodes of Calvert City and Daniel Rhodes of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Lynda Freeman of Chicago; two brothers, Clarence Ransom of Carmelton, Ind., and Junior Ransom of English, Ind.; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister. Her parents were John Ransom and Margaret Florence Barnae Ransom.

Memorial services will be held later. Collier Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
