WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Vera Viktorovna Mazhuga and Joseph Matthew McKinlay were united in marriage Nov. 2 in Williamsburg. The bride is the daughter of Victor and Lydia Mazhuga of the Voronezh region of Rossosh, Russia. The groom is the son of John D. and Judy F. McKinlay of Burna, Ky., and Williamsburg. He is the grandson of the late Emma Edmonds, the late Oscar F. Joiner, and the late Robert C. and Mary McKinlay. The bride is a graduate of Elets University of I.A. Bunin in Elets, Russia, where she earned a bachelor's degree in teaching. The groom is a graduate of Woodside High in Newport News, Va., and attended Thomas Nelson Community College in Williamsburg. He is the culinary assistant manager for Seaworld Parks and Entertainment in Williamsburg. The couple reside in Williamsburg.
