Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Champy Sr. of Paducah will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an informal open house beginning at noon Saturday at their home located at 7250 Houser Road. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Champy and the former Anna Sue Housden were married March 3, 1952, by the Rev. Leonard Reitz at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Paducah. Their attendants were Claudette Lawrence and John Kaufman.

Mrs. Champy is retired from Lourdes hospital. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Housden.

Mr. Champy is retired from Marine Industrial Machine Shop. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe A. Champy.

They have one son, Joseph Earl Champy Jr. of Paducah; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
