Johnnie Cawthon of Memphis, Tenn., died Sunday at Methodist Union Hospital in Memphis.

He was a native of Paducah. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Joann Cawthon; one son, Johnnie Cawthon of Memphis; five daughters, Mary Seymore, Betty Ware and Linda Tates, all of Memphis, Pam Johnston of Pensacola, Fla., and Qwendolyn Cawthon of Paducah, one brother and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by one son, five brothers, and three sisters. His parents were Clem Cawthon and Rosetta Hatter.

Memorial services will be held at Maplelawn Cemetery Mausoleum at noon Saturday, with Brother Robert Schmidt officiating.

A special visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mundy Funeral Chapel.
