KEVIL — Mr. and Mrs. John Kelly of Kevil celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary recently.

Mr. Kelly and the former Shirley Kay Bates were married Aug. 30, 1986, by the Rev. Enoch Robertson at Schneidman Road Baptist Church. Their attendants were Sue Workman and Andy Kelly.

Mrs. Kelly is employed as a teller at Region’s Bank. She is the daughter of Jim and Eula Bates of West Paducah.

Mr. Kelly is employed as a welder for Jim Smith Contractors. He is the son of Sylvia Kelly of Kevil and the late Evans Kelly.

They are the parents of Staff Sgt. Tony Jackson, stationed with the U.S. Marine Corps in Havelock, N.C., John Kelly Jr. of Paducah and the late Ricky Jackson.
