PRINCETON — John Robert Hawkins, 48, of Princeton died at 11:45 p.m. Friday at Caldwell Medical Center.

He was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Brandi Still Hawkins; one daughter, Cassie Tinsley of Princeton; two grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil Hawkins and Randy Hawkins, both of Caldwell County; and three sisters, Patricia Robinson of Caldwell County, Becky Chambers of Princeton and Darlene Chambers of Caldwell County.

He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were Bobby and Betty Nell Jones Hawkins.

Services will be 3 p.m. today at Jane Nichols Cemetery in Caldwell County. Friends may call after 12:30 p.m. today at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
