MURRAY — John Kelly Emerson, 60, of Murray died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at his home.

He retired as a manufacturing engineer. He was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Emerson; one son, Nathian Emerson of Belmont, N.C.; one daughter, Jennifer Romer of Liberty Township, Ohio, and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Julian Emerson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Imes-Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Kerry Lambert and Keith Travis officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the funeral home.
