MURRAY — Mr. and Mrs. Hafford “Hank” Adams of Murray will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 at Westside Baptist Church in Murray. All friends and relatives are invited.
Mr. Adams and the former Joanna Miller were married Aug. 10, 1963, by the Rev. Kenneth Morris at Puryear Baptist Church in Puryear, Tenn. Their attendants were Jackie Miller Gamlin, sister of the bride, and Isaac Adams, brother of the groom.
Mrs. Adams is retired from the Calloway County School System where she was food service director for 20 years. She is the daughter of the late Hoyt and LaBree Miller.
Mr. Adams is retired from Kentucky state government where he worked for the Revenue Cabinet. He is the son of the late Hafford and Laverne Adams.
They are the parents of Scott Adams and Andy Adams, both of Murray, and the late Ginger Adams. They have seven grandchildren.
