HERNANDO, Miss. — Jimmie Dale Farmer, 67, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 26, 2013.

Mr. Farmer was born in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Cordelia Farmer Terry and Harmon Dale Farmer. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Rev. A.J. Terry.

He leaves behind his wife of 19 years, Judy Farmer; his daugther, Candace Plunkett (Norris); grandson, Parker Plunkett of Olive Branch, Miss.; a sister, Sue McNeil (Bob) of Hardin, Kentucky; and a stepsister, Doris Jean Terry Taylor (Lew) of St. Augustine, Fla.

He retired from Smith & Nephew, Inc. after 39 years.

He was also a Master Mason with Lodge No. 51, Hernando, Miss.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to a charity of their choice.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2013, prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home-Midtown in Memphis, Tenn.
