CLINTON — Jewel Myatt, 88, of Clinton, formerly of Fulton, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Clinton-Hickman I.C.F.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton, a cosmetologist, and owner of the former Jewel’s Beauty Shop.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, serving as Worthy Matron for two terms, and of Roberts Lodge 172.
She is survived by two nieces, Sandra Lusk of Fulton and Anita Ross of Union City, Tenn., and one nephew, Pat Myatt of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Myatt, and several brothers and sisters.
Her parents were Bruce and Mattie (Parker) Slayden.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton.
There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for service.
