SALEM — Services for Jerry Avery Hunter, 62, of Salem will be at 2 p.m. today at Boyd Funeral Directors in Salem with the Rev. Dennis Winn officiating. Burial will follow in Old Salem Cemetery.

Mr. Hunter died Tuesday at his home.

He was a member of Old Salem Missionary Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Lesia Hunter; three daughters, Autumn Hunter of Gillette, Wyo., Sarah Hunter of Lone Oak and Ginny Stone of Ledbetter; one brother, Michael D. Hunter of Lexington; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Hunter; and one grandchild.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
