CALVERT CITY — Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hise of Calvert City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Calvert City United Methodist Church, 540 Oak Park Blvd. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts.

Mr. Hise and the former Jennie Davis Hancock were married June 4, 1961, by the Rev. Robert Elosser in Canal Fulton, Ohio. Their attendants were Ann Hancock Gilkerson and Jerry D. Turner.

Mrs. Hise is the daughter of the late Emory and Emily Hancock.

Mr. Hise is a retired metallurgical engineer for B.F. Goodrich and Westlake chemical companies. He is the son of the late Elmer and Hazel Hise.

They have three children: Terri Telle of Benton, Yvonne Hall of Nolensville, Tenn., and James Hise of Madison, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
