MAYFIELD — James L. Walker, 76, of Mayfield died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

Mr. Walker was a retired employee of General Tire and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Walker; two daughters, Trecia Nunley of Mayfield and Debra Walker of Paducah; one brother, William “Bill” Walker of Cunningham; one sister, Martha Tussing of Washington, D.C.; three grandchilden; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were James B. and Pauline Cox Walker.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Walker officiating. There will be no visitation. Byrn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
