CLINTON — Services for James Eugene Henley, 87, of Clinton were at 1 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with Cecil May officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Henley died at 9 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, in Jackson, Mo., at the home of his granddaughter.
He was a member of Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired U.S. mail carrier.
He is survived by two brothers, Lindy Henley of Clinton and Jack Henley of Paducah; three sisters, Katherine Adams of Clinton, Edith Adams of Clinton and Virginia Bryan of Paducah; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Krueger Henley; a daughter, Cheryl Diane Kirby; a sister; a brother; and a great-grandson. His parents were William Earnest and Ina Hollingsworth Henley.
