BENTON — James “Jim” DeMarco, 57, of Benton died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. DeMarco was a maintenance planner for Wacker Chemical in Calvert City and was a judge for the American Kennel Club. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Lee DeMarco; three sons, Jamie DeMarco of Youngstown, Ohio, Todd DeMarco of Houston, Pa., and Kenny Whitney of Benton; two daughters, Shannon Lawrence and Mary Quigley, both of Benton; two brothers, Frank DeMarco of Stevens Point, Wis., and Patsy DeMarco Jr. of McDonald, Ohio; one sister, Rosemary Connley of Niles, Ohio, and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were Patsy DeMarco Sr. and Madeline Colucci DeMarco.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Lynn Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Chestnut Oak Cemetery in Kuttawa.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the funeral home.
