MAYFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Myers of Mayfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Mr. Myers and the former Betty Warren were married July 21, 1951, in Hazel by James Parker. Their attendants were Thomas Lee and Freda Armstrong.

Mrs. Myers retired from Pilgrim’s Pride. She is the daughter of the late Deward and Carlene Warren.

Mr. Myers is a semi-retired farmer. He is the son of the late Chester and Lucy Myers.

They have two children: Johnny Myers of Mayfield and Anita Roberts of Murray; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
