ARLINGTON — Ina Sue (Slayden) Edrington, 90, of Arlington passed away at Countryside Health Care Sunday, February 17, 2013, at 4:40 p.m.
She was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church and of King’s Daughters Sunday School Class.
She was a Kentucky Education Association member, retired Librarians Association member, and Carlisle County Extension Homemakers member. She also was a 4-H sewing leader and served on the Ballard-Carlisle/Livingston Counties Library Board.
She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Cumbee and husband George of Paducah, Felicia Stewart and husband Daniel of Conway, Ark., and Sara Bogle Martin and husband Lincoln of Arlington; her son, Lawrence Edrington of Arlington; her sisters, Frances Duncan of Independence, Ky., and Martha Rushing of Clinton; her brothers, Joe Slayden of Draffenville, Ky., and Warren Slayden of Arlington; her grandchildren, Gretchen Cumbee Myrick and husband Greg of Mayfield, Laura Cumbee Sacharnoski and husband Kristan of Houston, Texas, Joe Ben Bogle and wife Monica of Murray, and Erin Bogle Provow and husband Travis of Milburn; great-grandchildren, Owen and Molly Myrick, Olivia and Morgan Bogle, and Harper Provow.
Mrs. Edrington was preceded by her husband, Rufus Felix Edrington; her parents, Walter and Roberta (Meshew) Slayden; and her brothers, Bill and Everette Slayden.
Services will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington, Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Aaron Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, February 19, 2013.
