Gene and Connie Hughes of Butte, Mont., announce the engagement of their daughter, Diana Cozette Hughes, to Ryan Gregston Beyer, son of Jerry and Sharon Beyer of Paducah, and the late Rhonda Beyer.

Miss Hughes is a 1998 graduate of Butte High School, a graduate of Ashmead School of Massage and is a student of kinesiololgy at the University of Louisville. She is a therapist at Milestone Wellness Center.

Mr. Beyer graduated from Lone Oak High School in 1997 and the University of Kentucky in 2002 with a degree in studio art. He is a personal trainer at Blairwood Fitness Center.

Wedding vows will be exchanged Sept. 22 at The Riverview House on the Ohio River in Louisville.
