MAYFIELD — Hillard Jefferson Bean, 79, of Mayfield died Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at his home.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayfield, a Graves County Farmer, retired employee of C.C. Metals & Alloys and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Bean is survived by his wife, Dianne Overby Bean; one son, Jeff Franklin (Gayle) Bean of Mayfield; five daughters, Alita (Barry) Conn of Malabar, Fla.; Kelly (Johnny) Jones of Aurora; Lisa (Darrel) Todd of Graves County; Gina (Cory) Becker and Stacy (Greg) Adams of Mayfield; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristi Rene Bean; parents, Rollie and Ocie Lee Chapmen Bean; brother, Lexie K. Bean; and sister, Jacqueline Bean.
Services for Mr. Hillard Bean will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, September 13, at Byrn Funeral Home, with Revs. Wes Fowler, Keith Allred and Ronnie Stinson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call on the family between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m.. Wednesday at the funeral home.
