Henry Lee Shepherd, 84, of Paducah, passed away at 11:24 p.m. Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Heartland Worship Center. Mr. Shepherd was a retired sales and delivery driver for Coca Cola Bottling Company.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dorotha Shepherd; his three sons, Marshall Lee Shepherd and wife Janet, Robert Glyn Shepherd and wife Gail, and Michael Gene Shepherd and wife Nancy, all of Paducah; four grandchildren, Michael T. Shepherd, Melissa Lynn Ditty, Steven Shepherd, and Kim Watson; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Michael Watson, and Benton Lee Watson.

He is preceded by four brothers and four sisters. His parents were Jimmy and Elizabeth Giffith Shepherd.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012, at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Joyce officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and continue Friday until the funeral hour.
