Gary and Aimee Hearell of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Jordan Leigh Hearell, to Christopher Michael Sibley, son of Michael and Lois Sibley of Paducah.

Miss Hearell is the granddaughter of Tom and Betty King of Reidland, and the late Roy and Maxine Hearell. She is a 2005 graduate of Lone Oak High School and earned an associate degree in 2007 from West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is employed by Western Baptist Hospital as a physical therapist assistant.

Mr. Sibley is the grandson of Gladys Sibley and the late Jerry Sibley, Linda and Jack Shepard of Paducah, Amelia Burger, and Donald and Nina Wilson. He is a 1998 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. He served in the U.S. Army and is a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He is employed by United Barge Co.

An Oct. 6 wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Paducah.
