Harrell-Smith

Dale and Jane Harrell of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Lynn Harrell, to Justin Clayton Smith, son of Danny and Kathy Smith of Benton.

Miss Harrell is the granddaughter of the late Oval and Ora Fields, and the late Mary Don Beard. She is a 2002 graduate of Marshall County sports_high_school and a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. She is employed by Wacker Polymers in Calvert City.

Mr. Smith is the grandson of Lois Smith of Kirksey and the late Rudy Smith, and the late Victor and Verna Adams. He is a 1998 graduate of Marshall County sports_high_school in Benton and the owner of Smith Construction in Benton.

Wedding vows will be exchanged May 21 at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville.
