CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Glyn Simpson, 78, of Clarksville, Tenn., died Sunday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in St. Bethlehem, was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a member of Cadiz Masonic Lodge 121.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Cherry Simpson; one son, Mike Simpson of Clarksville, one daughter, Debbie Scott of Clarksville; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Lee and Ida Mae Boren Simpson; and an infant son.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz, Ky., with the Rev. Jeff Burris officiating.

Burial will follow at Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery in Caldwell County, Ky.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
