Geraldine Alice Baker, of Paducah, formerly of Rochester, New York, age 82, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Paducah Center. She was born July 14, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio to Evans and Alice Turk Lewis.
She retired from Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester where she was employed as a Dietitian. After retiring, she did volunteer work at local nursing homes and with hospice. She was a very caring person. Baseball was her hobby and she was an avid baseball fan.
She is survived by three sons, Tom Berry (Laurie) of Wickliffe, Ky., John Berry of North Syracuse, N.Y., and Robert Berry of Manchester, England; two daughters, Barbara Mower of San Diego, Calif., and Nancy Berry of Newark, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
The family has requested donations be made in lieu of flowers. Memorial services for Geraldine Baker will be Saturday, April 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of La Center with the Rev. Jamie Lee officiating.
