PURYEAR, Tenn. — G. Floyd Barrow, 82, of Puryear died at 2:54 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at his home.

He was a member and deacon of Buchanan Baptist Church and a retired carpenter and farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Morris Barrow; two daughters, Carol Wicker of Aurora, Ky., and Ruth Ann Taylor of Hardin, Ky.; one son, Dwayne Barrow of Paris; one sister, Mary Evelyn Barrow of Centralia, Ill.; one brother, Leon Barrow of Murray, Ky.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers. His parents were George and Mintie Noel Barrow.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home in Murray, Ky., with the Rev. Jack Chriswell officiating. Burial will follow in Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. today, Jan. 14, 2013, at the funeral home.
