METROPOLIS, Ill. — Florence L. Cohoon, 80, of Metropolis, Ill., died at 9:40 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis.

Rev. Darryl Neill will officiate.

Florence was a member of Upper Salem Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, fishing and camping.

She is survived by a cousin, Alfred Neill and wife Sharon and family of Metropolis, Ill.; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and other cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bellamy; mother, Effie Mae Bellamy Neill; son, Michael Cohoon; husband, Clarence Cohoon.

There will not be any visitation.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services.

Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
