BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Dale Siress of Benton recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at their home.
Mr. Siress and the former Faylynn DePriest were married Aug. 25, 1962, at New Liberty Methodist Church in Kevil by the Rev. Edgar Siress, father of the groom. Their attendants were Marna Randolph and James “Hap” Siress.
Mrs. Siress is retired from the State Farm Insurance office of Susan Denton. She is the daughter of Nell DePriest of La Center and the late Wilbert DePriest.
Mr. Siress is a retired environmental director with the Marshall County Health Department. He is the son of Rachel Siress of Benton and the late Rev. Edgar Siress.
They have four children: Jeffrey Siress of Kirksey, Robb Siress of Hermitage, Tenn., Brady Siress of Benton and Mindi Siress of Reidland; and seven grandchildren.
