Mr. and Mrs. Jay Vandergriff of Paducah celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.

Mr. Vandergriff and the former Eulonda Ruth Warren were married Sept. 2, 1961, in Brookport, Ill. Their attendants were Lavada Reeves and Gladys Warren.

Mrs. Vandergriff is retired from Kroger’s. She is the daughter of the late James E. Warren and the late Gladys Warren.

Mr. Vandergriff is retired from B.A.’s Automotive. He is the son of the late Ted and Savannie Vandergriff.

They are the parents of Ricky Vandergriff, Tammy Burgess, Lana Vandergriff and Johnney Davidson, all of Paducah. They have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
