BENTON — Emma Lou Thompson of Benton died at 10:47 a.m. Friday in Draffenville.
She was a retired pharmacy assistant for J & R Pharmacy in Benton where she had worked for more than 36 years. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Bryant and Charletta Travis, both of Benton; one sister, Mary Lee Bogard of Murray; four grandchildren, Kim Teckenbrock Mullican, Clint Smith, Travis Peck and Emily Peck; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Her parents were James Grant Thompson and Georgia Ann Wilson Thompson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home with the Rev. Kyle Reeder officiating. Burial will be in Brewers Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
