Emma Lee Reed, 86, of Paducah, passed away at 12:50 a.m. Friday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.

Mrs. Reed was a native of Kentucky. She worked for Lourdes Hospital in the Dietary Department.

Surviving is her daughter, Gloria Jean Reynolds of Boaz, Ky.; and her sister, Mary York of Reidland; three grandchildren, Kim Hill of Paducah, Daniel Reynolds of Boaz, and Brian Reynolds of Illinois; four great-grandchildren, Autumn Johnson, Jayda Reynolds, Taylor Reynolds and Dallas Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Faye Beiterman; and her sister, Ruby Nell Cooper. Her parents were Joseph L. Ruggles and Ruby P. Thompson Ruggles.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Jackson Starks Cemetery in Benton, Ky., with the Rev. Todd Hawkins officiating.

There will be no visitation. Keeling Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
