MURRAY — Ella May Colister, 80, of Murray died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Murray and retired from Briggs & Stratton.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Layton of Murray; two sons, Edward Brunton of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Timothy Brunton of Melford, Kan.; two sisters, Ruth Parr of Westerville, Ohio, and Betty Shade of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Carl McCauley and Raymond Spillman, both of Columbus, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Linn Carl Colister; two sisters, and one brother.

Her parents were Raymond and Martha Johnson Spillman.
