Elizabeth Davis, 95, of Paducah, passed away at the home of her son, at 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Central Church of Christ. She was retired in housekeeping from Lourdes hospital and was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Davis is survived by two sons, Johnnie Ray Davis and wife, Mary of Madisonville, Ky., and Larry Gene Davis and wife, Susan of Benton, Ky.; six grandchildren, Mark Davis, Carole Stiles, Anne Davis, Scott Davis, Jennifer Davis and Audrey Myers; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Elmer Davis; one son, Robert Earl Davis; a sister, Robbie Rhea Mabry; two brothers, O.S. Mabry and Coburn Mabry. Her parents were Warner and Birdie Cain Mabry.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Jim Faughn and Dan Sikes officiating. Burial will follow in Owens Chapel Cemetery.
The Davis family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
