MURRAY — Elaine Blanton Fox, 60, of Murray died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday at her home.

She attended First United Methodist Church and was a hairdresser.

She is survived by one daughter, Dawn Glass of Louisville; two sons, Michael Carter of Louisville and Eric Payton of Murray; two sisters, Alpha Helson of Murray and Martha Geary of Litchfield; two brothers, Billy Blanton of Evansville, Ind., and Alvin Helson of Murray; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Her parents were Luther and Gertie Clubb Blanton.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Stahler officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
