Mrs. Effie Jean Cagle, 80, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012, at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Siere officiating.

Effie is survived by her husband, Robert Cagle of Paducah, Ky.; her daughter, Sherri Lee Campbell and husband Michael of Anna, Ill.; and one sister, Nellie Sue Roberts of Paducah, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hillary and Mattie Howell; three sisters, Hazel Carr, Janet Howell and Evelyn Truelser; and one brother, Bill Howell.

Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
